You must be willing to give when others take, to love with others hate, and to help when others abuse.

Everyone was trying to put their own personal spin on the word of God to suit their closely held beliefs, supporting the way they think things should be.

It's important that we take our cue from John Wesley and Jesus in actively putting ourselves out there and developing those relationships that truly make a lasting difference.

Jesus, God with us, was not the god of war. It's not what he taught and not the example he set of loving your neighbor, even the ones you don't like.

What John is telling us is that Christ has chosen to reflect his light through us, his children, to an unbelieving world.

But God had an important task for Joseph, and he didn't hesitate. He trusted God and willingly went where the spirit led him.
