Be happy because I'm poor, and happy when I'm hungry, and happy when I'm weeping about the sad state of my life?

The good news is that Jesus Christ will save us if we continue to believe it and faithfully follow it.

God wants nothing more than for us to be kind and patient with his children, especially those who have fallen on hard times and need to experience a little tenderness.

There will always be inequalities and inequities no matter what we do. The question is how much are we willing to tolerate as Christians?

That's part of the exciting adventure of following Christ as it involves being open and discovering one's service contribution, and then making it available to God.

God felt that Jesus had to experience the world as it was so that he could relate and empathize with us, so he could feel our pain and cry right along with us.
